Professional Conveyancing Fees (2024 fees)

Our professional fees for standard conveyancing work (no GST payable for our fees):

Residential Property Transfer Settlement- from $780 per property transfer transaction

Verification of Identity and Authority Process and Documentation- $40 per person included on property's Certificate of Title

Family Transmission- from $750

Draft Contract for Sale of Residential Property- $500

Draft Form 1 Vendor's Statement- $350

Change of Name- $250

Caveat- from $400

Land division- from $2000 per new certificate of title established

We can also visit you in the comfort of your home if you prefer, or can consult over the phone or Skype if it more convenient than an office meeting. Home visits are free of charge for clients with disability limiting ability for office consultation, subject to a radius of 15km from Port Adelaide.

Stamp Duty

In most instances, purchasing property requires the payment of Stamp Duty to Revenue SA. The amount of Stamp Duty payable depends on the contract sale price, where the greater the sale price, the greater amount of stamp duty the purchaser pays. Stamp duty must be paid to Revenue SA prior to settlement.

Land Titles Office Registration Fee

The LTO Registration Fee is payable by the purchaser of real estate.

Land Titles Office Document Lodgment Fees

Common forms required to be lodged with the Land Titles Office include Transfer, Discharge of Mortgage, Transmission, Change of Name and Caveat. Each of these conveyancing forms lodged with the Land Titles Office is $187 (2023-2024fee).

PEXA Fees (e-conveyancing platform)

PEXA fees vary depending on the type of transaction. Common PEXA transaction fees include:

Transfer- $132.66

Discharge of Mortgage with Financial Settlement- $48.95

Survivorship (Notice of Death)- $42.00

Transmission- $42.00

Caveat- $18.70
